The President of Al-Islami Khelafat Md. Sayed Al Islam strongly condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. This was condemned in a statement on his website yesterday. The statement said, Bangladesh and Al-Islami Caliphate and the rest of the Muslim world and other Islamic political parties have once again expressed deep concern over such a heinous act of insulting the sacred values and religious symbols of Muslims around the world. Bangladesh calls on all concerned to refrain from such unreasonable provocation and Islamophobia in the interest of harmony and peaceful coexistence. On Friday, a Koran was burned in front of a mosque near Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Earlier, Md Sayed Al Islam also condemned the desecration of the Quran in the Netherlands.
